NEW Tech available at Levi Heywood Memorial Library in Gardner
PRESS RELEASE from the Levi Heywood Memorial Library on July 13, 2026:
If you’ve been looking for some help with technology, a quiet place to work, or somewhere to make a private call, come by the Levi Heywood Memorial Library in Gardner, MA. Due to the generosity of the Massachusetts Broadband Institute’s Connected and Online Program, we have 25 new laptops at the library, 6 new desktops, and will soon be installing 2 new printers!
Anyone 12 years of age or older with a CWMars library card can check out a laptop to use in the library. You can take a telehealth appointment, apply for jobs, or take an online class from our private study rooms. You can finish your work in the children’s room while watching your kids play, do some quiet research, or play games with your friends in the teen area. Just stop by the reference desk with your library card to check out a laptop.
If you don’t have a library card, or you prefer using a desktop, you can check out the 6 newly upgraded desk top computers in our reference area. And if you need help, either with your technology or ours, you can take advantage of our new Book a Librarian service.
