Crafting the Perfect Fall Tradition: Highlights from the 2026 Annunciation Parish & Holy Family Academy Bazaar
Is there anything quite as enchanting as the crisp, golden days of autumn when a community comes together in warmth and celebration? As the New England foliage peaks, local gatherings offer far more than just a weekend outing—they create cherished traditions that bring neighbors together across generations.
This fall, the Annual Fall Bazaar, co-hosted by Annunciation Parish and Holy Family Academy, invites families and friends to gather, celebrate, and give back. Taking place from October 16–18, 2026, at Holy Rosary Hall (135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA), this vibrant three-day festival blends delicious home-style dining, purposeful local shopping, and joyful entertainment for all ages.
Take the Daily Culinary Journey (Food That Tells a Story)
Nothing captures the cozy spirit of fall like warm, home-cooked comfort food. The Annual Fall Bazaar turns dining into an irresistible weekend-long journey by featuring a distinct, mouthwatering culinary theme every single day.
On Friday, October 16, the hall opens its doors from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a hearty Full Menu packed with satisfying classic lunch and dinner options. On Saturday, October 17, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the kitchen celebrates Polish Food Day, filling the air with the aroma of savory, authentic dishes like steaming pierogies. The culinary weekend concludes on Sunday, October 18, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a grand Turkey Dinner served with all the classic trimmings.
Throughout all three days, visitors can also satisfy their sweet tooth with continuous everyday staples, including homemade favorites, delicious desserts, and freshly baked goods prepared by parish and school volunteers.
“From authentic Polish classics to a heartwarming Sunday turkey feast, every day at Holy Rosary Hall offers a brand-new reason to pull up a chair and share a meal with friends.”
Shop with Purpose — “Shop & Support” Marketplace
Beyond the wonderful aromas drifting from the kitchen, the hall transforms into a lively treasure hunt at the “Shop & Support” marketplace. Browsing the aisles provides a wonderful opportunity to discover unique gifts, seasonal decor, and handcrafted items while directly supporting the educational programs at Holy Family Academy and the ongoing mission of Annunciation Parish.
The marketplace offers a wide variety of themed booths and specialty displays:
- Raffles
- Gift Baskets
- Plants
- Jewelry
- Handmade Goods
- Knitting
- Attic Treasures
- Vendor Booths
Whether you are seeking cozy hand-knitted scarves, potted autumn greens, themed gift baskets, or hidden vintage gems in the Attic Treasures section, every single purchase helps invest back into local parish life and student education.
The Family Fun Zone is Designed for All Generations
A truly memorable community festival offers something delightful for every age group, from energetic young children to grandparents. The Annual Fall Bazaar achieves this with a dedicated entertainment space designed to keep kids smiling while parents browse the marketplace or enjoy a quiet meal.
The Family Fun Zone includes:
- Kids Zone
- Bounce House
- Games
By pairing adult-friendly shopping and dining with exciting, interactive children’s play areas, the event creates an inviting, stress-free environment for the entire family. Children can jump, play, and make memories, turning a simple community fundraiser into a beloved autumn family outing.
The Bazaar is a Model of Educational & Spiritual Partnership
At its core, the bazaar highlights a vibrant collaboration between two foundational community institutions. The event unites Annunciation Parish, guided by its spiritual commitment (“Fiat”), alongside Holy Family Academy, anchored by its tradition of academic and character development (“Wisdom, Grace & Strength”).
By bringing together parishioners, teachers, students, and local residents under one roof, the event showcases the incredible impact of shared community goals. This collective spirit shines through in the bazaar’s main banner banner call to action:
“SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL & PARISH!”
