Double Header Chamber Event on October 15th to be One Great Time!
On the same night as the Chili Taste-Off which this year boats 8 local favorites – (Doors Open at 4:30pm) is the 5th Annual Chicken Poo Bingo, (starts at 6pm) a unique fundraising event held at The Brew Barn in Phillipston. Participants can purchase one of 300 available tickets for ten dollars, each corresponding to a specific number on a large grid. The grand prize of $1,000 is awarded to the individual whose number is chosen by a live chicken during the event on October 15. While the competition is a highlight of the Chili & Chowder Taste Off, winners do not need to be physically present and can watch the results via a Facebook livestream. Interested parties must secure their entries online before the October 14 deadline. This quirky tradition offers a high-stakes reward based entirely on the unpredictable movements of a bird. The Chair Man and the Chair Lady talk about the quirky game of bingo in this unforgettable podcast. CLICK PLAY.
The 2026 Chili & Chowder Taste Off and the 5th Annual Chicken Poo Bingo function in tandem to create a robust, multi-layered community experience. The culinary appeal of the Taste Off provides the breadth of the event’s reach, while the Bingo provides the specific “event hook” necessary to drive immediate revenue and digital interaction.
For stakeholders, the 300-ticket cap represents a critical window for participation. This inherent scarcity creates a “sell-out certainty” that drives early-bird revenue and heightens the perceived value of the $1,000 prize. The 1-in-300 odds represent a compelling value proposition for any participant, regardless of their physical location.
