CVS Back open after Facade Collapse
The Gardner MA CVS is back open after contractors took needed action.
From the Gardner Fire Department: “Yesterday, Group 2 responded to CVS on Main Street for a reported building collapse. Firefighters arrived to find a large portion of the façade that had broken free from the building and collapsed. Firefighters immediately evaluated the damage and evacuated the store.
After further investigation, a large portion of the wall immediately adjacent to the collapsed area showed signs of bowing. Contractors were required to remove this dangerous section of the wall before the store was allowed to reopen for business. As of this morning, CVS is back open, with the exception of the drive-thru.There were no injuries reported”
