The event featured a traditional bell-ringing ceremony to remember fallen heroes and provided a platform fot City Leaders to express gratitude for the sacrifices made by first responders. Several personnel received career service awards and life-saving commendations for specific acts of bravery, such as ice rescues and actions during medical emergencies. The program also highlighted the future of the Gardner Fire Department by recognizing student interns and awarding the inaugural Reverend David Cody Memorial Scholarship. Through prayers and speeches, the community reaffirmed its commitment to a legacy of public service and professionalism.
