Location: the e Gardner Museum on Pearl Street in Gardner. Donations of a tree, basket, or other item for the festival will be accepted through October 31st (to give time for the setup on November 2nd)
Here’s how the Festival of Trees works: The Annual Festival of Trees is a fundraising event with visitors purchasing sheets of raffle tickets for $5 each. Each sheet contains 26 chances. Each one of those 26 chances on a sheet can be placed in a container near one of the expected more than 120 raffle items and one can be used to take a chance to win one of the weekly door prizes drawn each Saturday to include Christmas décor, scratch tickets, and cash.
Those who wish to donate a tree, basket, or other item can call the Gardner Museum at (978) 632-3277 or send an email to info@gardnermuseuminc.com. Museum Coordinator Marion Knoll will then forward the info to Janet Stankaitis and her team of about 100 volunteers.
