Gardner Mayor Michael Nicholson announced that he is discontinuing the expansion of the City’s Sludge Landfill, city environmental and fiscal concerns following state regulatory reviews.
Karen Butler was formally elected and sworn in as the new City Auditor. Various Mayoral appointments to local commissions were confirmed.
