Gardner MA , City in North Central Massachusetts Experiencing Accelerated Development
Gardner is known as the Chair City. Its heritage of manufacturing products with 4 physical supports (chairs) had led to its successful and transformative program of Accelerated Development, an unprecedented partnership of the 4 contributory supportive tenets: Government, Business, Community, and Private collaboration to achieve an expedited prosperity. While incorporated in 1785, Gardner celebrates its 100th year as a City on January 1, 2023.
On October 14, 2022, we interviewed the Chair City Chief Executive about Gardner’s successful and transformative program of Accelerated Development, an unprecedented partnership of Government, Business, Community, and Private collaboration to achieve an expedited prosperity. Thank you, Gardner Mayor Michael Nicholson.
We spoke about so many individuals in the City who have contributed to the acceleration of Gardner’s good reputation, have dealt with unprecedented growth, created advances in Gardner Public School Education, put forth what has been instrumental in moving Gardner up in the eyes of business, advanced Gardner through smart engineering and use of technology, and how the Chair City has chosen to take a more proactive approach to issues. All combine to make Gardner a model City for future success.
We spoke of Healthcare, Housing, Retail, Business, Manufacturing, and Industry. Mayor Nicholson advised how to make the appropriate contacts if you have questions as a prospective resident, business, or industry. And we asked the Mayor about how he feels about the word spreading so fast about Gardner’s success and people’s feelings of WOW, that’s Development Accelerated. It’s a lengthy interview, but worth every minute. You will feel great about Gardner after listening to this.
