Gardner MA Mayor Michael Nicholson speaks with Heart from the Vault

Mayor Nicholson spoke from the vault of the former BOA building on Parker Street which was purchased recently and might become a Steakhouse next year.
Congratulates Gardner’s Sports Teams
The Mayor stated, “I want to start off by giving a very special shout out to our sports teams at Gardner High School.” The Mayor spoke of the Soccer, Cross Country, and Cheerleading teams stating, “It’s really been a great year for Gardner High School Athletics.”
Upcoming Thanksgiving
Gardner City Hall is closing early Wednesday at noon, is closed on Thanksgiving, and closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The Mayor stated, “We are working to try to get as much a city hall online as possible so that you don’t have to wait for when we are open.” The Mayor reminded everyone about the Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting coming up on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Parade to go from City Hall to Monument Park. Santa will be lead in with a team of horses. “It’s gonna be a great time for all.” The Mayor also spoke about the upcoming Mayor’s Christmas video.
Funding to Convert Waterford to Community Center
City receiving $400,000 from Economic Development Bill to renovate Waterford and “fully implement our Community Center initiative that we announced earlier.” Here’s info from the State of MA on the bill.
