Winchendon Police Chief Gives Presentation to Board

Winchendon has 16 full time police officers. Chief Wolski spoke about all of the activities, programs, and challenges of the Winchendon PD. Wolski went over staffing levels and equipment needs. The chief spoke of community policing and partnerships with organizations to benefit the community. Wolski spoke of “aggressive investigation and prosecution of drug dealers that are dealing poison on the streets of our community.” There was also discussion about the current police department building and upcoming repair needs.
The various topics discussed are similar to those faced by all of the police departments in the Greater Gardner area.
