Recap of Various News items including Memorial Day Weekend: Memorial Day weekend is upon us with the Vietnam Veterans of America 21st Annual Memorial Day Motorcycle Ride. It is hosted by the Patriot Riders of America Chapter 3. It starts at Kendall Pond at the Polish American Citizens Club Registration for riders is from 7:15 to 9:45am. Registration is $25 per bike and passengers ride free. —-Gardner’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 26th begins on Elm Street at 9:30am and goes to Monument Park for the traditional Memorial Day ceremonies. —- City Hall is closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
