Greater Gardner MA Still in Moderate Drought – Fires Discouraged
The U.S. Drought Monitor shows Gardner in a moderate drought as of 3-11-25. While the seasonal forecast is for the drought to improve in Northern Worcester County, dry conditions make the immediate forest and brush fire danger very real. The probability of above normal precipitation in the next couple weeks is about 40%. Area fire officials discourage burning.
