Results of the Annual Winchendon MA Town Election:
Board of Selectmen 3 yr. – Elected was Melissa S. Blanchard with 246 votes. Edward W. Ford Jr. got 42 votes and LaRochelle got 92 votes
School Committee 3 yr. David LaPointe was reelected, and Karen Kast-McBride defeated Michael Barbaro
Tina Santos got a seat on the Board of Health with 318 votes, but the 2nd seat was evenly split as Keith Kent and Ed Bond got 13 write-in votes each, so no winner was declared. (Ed Bond was the incumbent but didn’t turn in nomination papers and thus did not appear on the ballot) Any citizen interested in the seat should send in a letter of interest to the Winchendon Board of Selectmen who will select someone to fill the spot until the next town election.
