Westminster MA Town Benefit Day is Neighbors Helping Neighbors
The non-profit group Neighbors Helping Neighbors is sponsoring the annual Westminster Town Benefit Day on Sunday August 14, 2022 from 11am to 5pm with various activities and Food Trucks. Location: Academy Hill. (off West Main Street.) N.H.N. helps people who need help. Facebook page, CLICK HERE.
In the 25 years of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, times have changed. When it started in 1987, very few had personal computers. Now Smart Phones are computers. And this year the group is hoping the new ability to “Just Scan & Pay” will increase the fundraising tally which has totaled about $25,000 each year, except during the past 2 year hiatus due to the pandemic. According to their post on Facebook, “AMAZING haul of donations for the Chinese Auction and Over The Top! We really have something for everyone!! See you Sunday!”
