The Greenwood Swim Club is having a swim meet at Greenwood Pool this weekend. This is the first one since the passing of Don LeMieux

Saturday, June 25, 2022 : 1. Morning session begins at 9:15.  Swimmers and parents will be rolling in around 8:30.  It will end at 12:45.  2.  Afternoon session begins at 1:15.  Swimmers and parents will be rolling in around 12:45.  It will end at 4:15. There are also meets at Greenwood Pool on Sunday.

Keri the Wonder Dog will be at Anthony’s Liquor Mart on Saturday June 25, 2022 from 1pm to 6pm. Anthony’s also will be featuring displays of some of the world’s most noted and appreciated wines and spirits. If you would like to see an $1,800 bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Rye, Anthony’s will have one on display. The store states, “We have the largest selection of Microbrews, Seltzers, Hard Teas, and Hard Cider of any store from Leominster to Springfield. And, Anthony’s is a lucky lottery location, having a $1.5 million dollar ticket last year.

The popular host of Gardner’s hit radio show, Hotline Radio, Steve Wendell, will be in Downtown Gardner starting sometime mid-morning and continuing through mid-afternoon. The Downtown Dunk Tank will be set up by the Gardner PD on Parker Street from noon to 3pm. Proceeds benefit the Gardner CAC Food Pantry.
